At the time of your graduation, your school must either be accredited by ACAOM or in candidacy status for accreditation by ACAOM.

Medical doctors and osteopaths may practice acupuncture in Delaware without any specific training.
Chiropractors must be certified with a minimum of 100 or more hours of certified training beyond and in addition to any courses or training received toward the doctor of chiropractic degree.
NOTE: Look for a physician with formal training in the practice of acupuncture. Acupuncture and Oriental medicine is an art and a science that takes years to master. While any licensed physician can stick needles into you, for a positive experience and results, find an acupuncturist with experience treating a similar condition (with acupuncture) to what you have.
